Our Spanish Dual Language Immersion class recently embraced the vibrant tradition of Día de los Muertos, transforming the hallway

into a colorful celebration of life and remembrance. Students engaged in creating a traditional altar, adorned with photos of loved ones and surrounded by their favorite foods, capturing the essence of this cultural festivity. The classroom buzzed with excitement as students crafted their own marigold headwear, symbolizing the beauty and fragility of life. This immersive experience not only highlighted the rich cultural heritage behind Día de los Muertos but also fostered a deeper understanding and appreciation among our students for these meaningful traditions.
