My name is Aleksa Porter. I am so excited to be the new Girl’s Basketball Head Coach at SHHS! Before coming to Salem Hills I was and still am a stay-at-home mom and entrepreneur!
My favorite food is raw sushi (straight out of the ocean) or ice cream! My favorite colors are purple and sky blue! My favorite hobby is traveling with my family! Last year we went to 3 continents and 6 different countries! My favorite sport are pretty much all sports! I also love board games & singing. My favorite holiday is Christma and the 24th of July! I am a BIG musical fan and will geek out about it! My husband and I love living in Salem with our two little girls. We are always down for a trip, adventure and good food! But our favorite things recently have been watching our girls do gymnastics, dance, and explore their world. We all love being apart of the Skyhawk family!

My name is Nick Stones. I am the new School Resource Officer at SHHS! Before coming to Salem Hills I was the SRO for Salem Junior High and Valley View Middle School! Prior to becoming an SRO, I was working patrol for the Salem City Police Department!
My favorite food is either Mo’Bettah’s or Sushi! My favorite color is Blue! My favorite hobbies include going to whatever activities my children are in, golfing and going to the gym! My favorite sport is football! My favorite holiday is Christmas! I listen to all sorts of music and it just depends on what I am doing and what mood I am in! I’ve got three awesome kids: Hallie is 8, Cooper is 5, and our youngest, Ellery, just turned 1. My wife and I both grew up in the Salem area, and we’ve stuck around ever since. After high school, I tried out a bunch of different career paths — I spent a short amount of time in the medical field, went and got my private pilot’s license while diving into aviation, and eventually found my way into law enforcement. These days, I work as a School Resource Officer and Detective where I get to help investigate a variety of different crimes that occur in Salem. I like staying active, and a couple of personal wins I’m proud of are finishing a Half-Ironman in Santa Cruz a few years back and benching over 400 pounds about five years ago (definitely not hitting that number anymore, though!). My family and I love to travel and are most recent trip was to England earlier this year where we stayed in the Cotswold's and explored the English countryside!
