It's hard to believe, but the first day of school at Spring Canyon Middle School is just around the corner!
First Day of School: Tuesday, August 18
Beginning Monday, August 3, our staff will be at the school every weekday leading up to the first day to help with registration, schedules, questions, and anything else you need to get ready for an incredible school year.
Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning, we can't wait to welcome you to Spring Canyon.
At SCMS, we run as a PACK, and we can't wait to have our entire PACK together.

Free and Reduced lunch applications are now open for the 26-27 school year!
Families can now apply using one of the following methods.
Use the LINQ app on your phone. Log into the app, scroll down and you will see "Free & Reduced Meal Application"
Go to LINQCONNECT.COM (http://linqconnect.com/), Click the "School Services" drop down menu and then choose "Free & Reduced Meal Application"
Remember, if families had a free or reduced eligibility last school year, they still need to apply. The eligibility does not carry over from year to year.
The CHILD NUTRITION WEBSITE (https://www.nebo.edu/page/child-nutrition)has useful information about our program, menus etc.

We have an incredibly rare opportunity to participate in the 9/11 Remembrance Event being held at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds. This is not just for students, it is for all our families. Please take some time today , Thursday, September 11th through Saturday, September 13th from 9 am to 9 pm to attend this wonderful event. Nebo is partnering with the Utah Food Bank again this year to provide free summer meals in four of Nebo School District communities. Fresh and free summer meals will be offered every Monday through Friday.

Kids Cause is excited to invite you to our Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, June 2! This event will support students in Nebo School District by helping provide glasses, dental work, clothing, and other essentials. Kids Cause works closely with school social workers and administrators to identify students who need extra help, making a real difference in our community.
The tournament promises a fun day for a great cause — just $60 per person! Bring your own foursome if possible! Lunch will be provided, and there will be lots of prizes to win throughout the day. Come enjoy a round of golf and help us continue supporting kids in need! We hope to see you there!
College and Career Readiness Planning Meetings: 7th grade parents should signup today to meet with their child and their child's counselor as students begin to consider what classes to take over the next few years to help them prepare for college and future careers.
